Best Cake Ever! 4th cake in six months. Had to return for my father’s 80th birthday cake! My sister’s birthday cake and my son’s 30th birthday cake. Moises and Marivic knocked it out the park with my father’s cake. It was a light concoction of pineapple and pastry cream, it had his picture on it too, Amazing! My sister’s cake was a dreamy red velvet with a garden of flowers on the outside, Delicious! My son’s was the same delicious red velvet, but a Spiderman creation! He doesn’t really like sweets but said it was the Best cake he ever had! The 3D Spiderman decoration was a hit with even his 30-something friends! We have never been disappointed and will be back for more! The care, creativity, and (flavor) combinations are the greatest! The cakes are moist, light and delicious. Each cake ordered was selected after a detailed consultation and cake tasting of about 7 or 8 flavors and fillings! But they have so many more. Every one of the cakes we have commissioned received rave reviews at each function. We appreciate the excellent customer service and highly recommend Helena Wirth Cakes for your next event. Wanted to drop you a quick note to say the cupcakes were OUtSTaNDIng! Loved the design and all the kids and ADults devoured them. We had plenty of cupcakes and didn’t cut the lemon cake till her bday the next day. That too was sooo decadent and we shared slices with her teachers and others who couldn’t make the party. He was very accommodating and made a small sample cake for me to see and taste; as I was a bit nervous and am a stickler for detail. Helena Wirth Cakes went out of his way to make me happy. The final cake was classic and stunning — a 4-tier cake with rounded edges, frosted in ivory buttercream fondant and filled with layers of fresh bananas and bavarian cream. My husband’s family is Italian and traditionally ordered canoli cake for every birthday and holiday. They had been getting a canoli cake from an Italian bakery in Encino that recently went out of business. I searched the entire San Fernando Valley for another bakery that would make a canoli cake. I saw the custom cakes on Helena Wirth’s web site, and contacted the owner. He had not done a canoli cake before, and was willing to try the receipe. I gave him some specifics, and placed an order for my husband’s mother’s 90th birthday. When I picked it up I was awe struck at how beautiful it was. But the best part was when my husband’s family tasted it. They said it was every bit as good as the fomer Italian bakery. A superb rendition, not exact, but outstanding in it’s own right. The service was unsurpassed. The owner really wanted to please, and did exactly that. Thank you for making my family happy, and the 90th birthday more special. We will definitely be back again.
